Shopping & markets

Markets, wine and beautiful things

Jávea is not a town for chain stores, and that is exactly its charm. Here you shop at family businesses that have sometimes been going for fifty years, among the stalls of the mercat or at an evening market by the port.

Markets

Mercat Municipal

Mercat Municipal

The covered market hall by the church is the belly of the town. Where to go

The nicest boutiques and studios are in the little streets of the old centre, around the church square and the Plaça de la Constitució. Near the Arenal you shop along the Avenida Fontana and the promenade, and at the port you can wander the evening market on summer nights.
